Tim & Lisa: Married!

I had the pleasure of photographing Tim and Lisa’s wedding last weekend, at the beautiful La Belle Winery. What struck me most about the day was how laid back both the bride and groom were. No fuss, no stress, just a whole lot of joy and celebration. The ceremony took place outside on a hill overlooking the vineyard. The light was just perfect as Lisa walked down the aisle to greet Tim and pretty much continued until night fall. Congrats Tim and Lisa, I hope you cherish these images for years to come!!

Brendan & Ashley: Married!

Tradition plays a huge role in the relationship of Ashley and Brendan. So it makes perfect sense that they set out to plan a fourth of July wedding surrounded by friends and family. We of course started with the road race, described in part one of this blog post. Ashley walked down the aisle in the church where her Grandparents are parishioners…just a block away from their home which has hosted Independence Day for decades. Our plan was to take pictures in the garden of this very home, but the weather had different plans! No worries, because the flowers still made a debut in the bouquets lovingly handmade by Ashley’s grandmother. The party continued at the beautiful Steven’s Estate in North Andover with lawn games, food cooked to order, and sparklers of course! There was simply so much to celebrate on this festive July day. Ashley and Brendan…from the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing me. I wish you a lifetime of tradition making!

Brendan & Ashley: Pre-Wedding Road Race!

Brendan and Ashley’s July fourth wedding day included a handful of personal touches and nods to family tradition. The perfect example is the road race the couple ran to start off the day. When Brendan was young, he would sit on the sidelines of the race to watch his grandfather run by. This became a fourth of July tradition that has lasted for close to thirty years. To pay tribute to Brendan’s late grandfather, both sides ran with their respective bridal parties a few hours before their wedding ceremony (and managed not to see each other until the altar!!). The Boston Globe featured Ashley and Brendan’s story (article link here), which made the day all the more exciting!

Alex & Emma: Married!

I absolutely loved every last minute of photographing Alex and Emma’s Wachusett Mountain wedding. The quiet calm that surrounded Emma as she got ready with her nearest and dearest. The earrings that Emma had her heart set on (but figured wouldn’t fit into the budget) which Alex remembered and gave to her with love on their wedding day. The look on both faces as they locked eyes for the first time..and the tears and smiles that continued long past “I do”. The meaningful words spoken about this humble, thoughtful, smart, kind, and madly in love couple. The ridiculous dance party that literally brought everyone to the floor and had me laughing outloud! I enjoyed it all and will look fondly on this day for years to come. Alex and Emma, I wish you a lifetime of ear-to-ear smiles like the ones from your beautiful day in June!
