Megan and my sister, Melissa have been friends since the first grade. As far back as I can remember, Megan has pretty much been a part of my life. I see her at the beach with my family, at the breakfast table playing pretend waitress (handing out DIY menu’s made in marker), and watching Mary Poppins and/or Hocus Pocus for the 100th time on our couch. Later on in life, Megan and Melissa went to the same college and once again we made memories to share. As the years went by, I always wanted the same thing for both my sisters…happiness. Well Megan has found that and more in her fiancé Mike. From the first meeting, I knew he was “the one”…they complement each other perfectly and have an effortless kind of love. They make the same kind of jokes and laugh together without skipping a beat. It goes without saying that these seaport engagement pictures are special, and I am thrilled to be able to share them as Megan and Mike plan for their big day!

I have had the privilege of capturing the Prudente family on different occasions over the past six months. The first was a fabulous first birthday party for Miss Victoria, then on to her baptism a few months later. This fall, Anya and Jim called me to once again photograph their family. They both happen to be very talented wedding photographers, and were able to find time in their busy schedule to meet up on the Eslplanade. I am so glad they did! It was amazing to see how much their sweet little girl has grown and to watch her running all over the place. Their little bulldog, Oliver, made the session complete with his handsome bow tie. Love this family and the happiness they share with each other!

Parents Sara and Chris hit the nail on the head when they described their little guy as having “joie de vivre.” My new friend was so cheerful for the entire hour we were together. Running, jumping, falling down and saying “boom”, you name it, he was happily playing along. Sara and Chris obviously get a big kick out of their awesome son and it is easy to see why. Thank you for allowing me to capture the spirit of P…what a joy he is to be around!

There really aren’t words to express how much I love this next session. You might remember Jay and Jess from their maternity session on Duxbury Bay this summer. Well since then, they have welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world. And they are smitten. Completely over the moon in love with their sweet baby. You can see it in every whisper, every quiet movement, each look at one another. These pictures make me smile ear to ear every time I look at them. What an experience it is to see good friends become great parents:)
