When planning their spring wedding celebration, Carolyn and Ben knew two things would be true. First that the day would be a casual, light hearted affair including only closest friends and family. Next was that each element needed to feel like “them”..even if this meant bucking tradition. The result culminated in an outdoor ceremony amidst the gardens of Wellesley Town Hall, officiated by Carolyn’s best friend (and my neighbor!), thirty-two people total, an intimate and beautiful dinner at Blue Ginger, and an after party for the books. Seeing the happiness radiate off of Carolyn and Ben…all day long…was proof positive that every detail spoke to who they truly are. Small weddings are pretty hard to top, especially when the twosome are lovely, humble, genuine, and easy going spirits who make you feel right at home.

Colleen and Tim’s wedding day is one that I had been waiting for since they contacted me early last year. From our very first meeting, there was no doubt in my mind that this couple in front of me were something special. The way they talked about their engagement, their families, and plans for a beautiful Spring celebration…each detail brought an excited sparkle to their eyes. Colleen and Tim exemplify building a life around the one you love, and watching the heartfelt moments from this day in April spoke volumes to their devotion.

This sweet couple contacted me over the winter to schedule a newborn session in early spring. How excited I was to receive word (two weeks early!) that little baby C had made her way into the world. There is nothing like meeting a newly formed family of three for the first time. So much joy, a little nervous energy, and newfound love between husband and wife. I know that someday, years from now, these images will be cherished for numerous reasons and that the warm feelings will all come flooding back. Kristen & Chris-Thank you so much for choosing me and congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!!

In the winter, the streets of Beacon Hill take on a different personality. The classic elegance is still on full display, but a sort of quiet calm fills the air. Justine and Seth chose this spot for their engagement session, and from the moment we started, everything seemed just right. If you were to ask me, I would say this quaint neighborhood in the city compliments this couple perfectly. Classic and calm were Justine and Seth throughout our hour together (not to mention happy and so in love!). We finished up near the water where the real fun began. Seth and Justine switched into some Patriots/Seahawks gear (it was, after all, Superbowl weekend) and broke out a bottle of champagne to toast their wedding day planned for 2017 in Gloucester…I am already counting down the days!!
