Rob & Katie: Engaged!

One aspect of engagement sessions that I absolutely love is when a couple asks to simply explore a certain area. For Katie and Rob, the choice was simple. The North End is where they fell in love, years after sparking a friendship at Syracuse University. We met up on the street that Katie and Rob first called home, and made our way through the little corners that they hold so dear. What a joy it was to learn more about these two, talking all about their relationship and the beautiful September wedding currently in the works. To top off an already amazing session, a friend invited us to use their roof deck with some of the most stunning views of the city that I have ever (and probably will ever!) see. Katie and Rob…you were so much fun to work with! I absolutely cannot wait for your wedding day!

Kyle & Kathleen: Engaged!

Spring in the Public Garden is pretty hard to top. All the plants are in full bloom, the swan boats are back in the water, and everything just seems brighter. The only thing that can make this location better is when a couple opts for an early morning engagement session. The city is so quiet, and each pathway is free of any visitors. Kyle and Kathleen were so easy going and fun to be around…taking each moment in stride and managing to stay positive when the rain came. I absolutely cannot wait for their September wedding in Salem!! Thanks again Kyle and Kathleen and see you very soon!

Ben & Carolyn: Married!

When planning their spring wedding celebration, Carolyn and Ben knew two things would be true. First that the day would be a casual, light hearted affair including only closest friends and family. Next was that each element needed to feel like “them”..even if this meant bucking tradition. The result culminated in an outdoor ceremony amidst the gardens of Wellesley Town Hall, officiated by Carolyn’s best friend (and my neighbor!), thirty-two people total, an intimate and beautiful dinner at Blue Ginger, and an after party for the books. Seeing the happiness radiate off of Carolyn and Ben…all day long…was proof positive that every detail spoke to who they truly are. Small weddings are pretty hard to top, especially when the twosome are lovely, humble, genuine, and easy going spirits who make you feel right at home.

Carolyn and Ben…thank you for inviting me in to witness this special day. I wish you nothing but the best as you begin married life together!
