J: Oreos!

Do you know that Oreo came out with a lemon version? Well…over the summer, they did…and Jack approved.

Courtney & Mark: Seaport Engagement!

Courtney and Mark. What can I even say? In a second you will understand why words are hard to come up with when describing these two. Let’s just say that I now know it’s possible to be equal parts put together (we are talking stepped out of a magazine put together here) and nice/happy/fun to hang out with. And they are both BC alums, come on now! I have known Courtney for a long time as she and my sister have been friends since Middle School. Courtney has the best family. Every once and a while I run into her mom when getting munchkins on Saturday mornings. She has woken up early to go for a run…I’m awake because I have no choice. 7am is for the weak.

Now I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mark and everything has come full circle. Here are just some of the pictures from our Seaport session:

Courtney and Mark-I had a great time!! Hope to see you at a tailgate or two this fall:)

L&J: Trucks!

Christmas came in July. Somehow our town learned about Jack’s complete and utter obsession with trucks (and buses and boats, and pretty much anything that goes) and decided to pave our street. We woke up one morning to a bulldozer, a backhoe, and a dump truck right outside our door. Total fascination. Jack stood still and watched for a solid 30 minutes (which is an eternity in toddler time).

And Luke was in on the action too (he watched safely from his seat)!

BBQ

For years, my husband has played on a men’s softball league with a big group of his college friends. Every Friday night. In the summer. Ugh. While this hobby may or may not be so fun for the significant others, it is fun that we have started an annual cookout to celebrate all their victories on the field.

All jokes aside, we had an awesome day in early summer, hanging by the pool and enjoying each other’s company. I love that our kids have a chance to play together and I hope the tradition continues far into the future!! Here is some of the cuteness:
