Seth & Justine: Engaged!

In the winter, the streets of Beacon Hill take on a different personality. The classic elegance is still on full display, but a sort of quiet calm fills the air. Justine and Seth chose this spot for their engagement session, and from the moment we started, everything seemed just right. If you were to ask me, I would say this quaint neighborhood in the city compliments this couple perfectly. Classic and calm were Justine and Seth throughout our hour together (not to mention happy and so in love!). We finished up near the water where the real fun began. Seth and Justine switched into some Patriots/Seahawks gear (it was, after all, Superbowl weekend) and broke out a bottle of champagne to toast their wedding day planned for 2017 in Gloucester…I am already counting down the days!!

Congratulations on your engagement you two. Enjoy each and every image!

Paul & Alyssa: Married!

Alyssa and Paul were my first wedding of 2016 and I have to say that this year is already off to a great start. All week leading up to the big day, the weather forecast called for torrential rain. Pulling up to the Salem Waterfront Hotel, the skies started to clear and bright sun shone through by the time Alyssa was bride-ready. It was almost as if nothing could stop the day from being a bright and happy event (even the Patriot’s won!!). Every detail chosen by these two was beautiful…the colors, the sparkle, and the cute little touches truly reflected the special nature of Alyssa and Paul.

Congratulations again you two! I hope you had an amazing trip to Mexico and I can’t wait to show you everything!!

Sweet Lady Jane Weddings: 2015 Favorites

If you follow my blog, you know that my posts tend to shy away from anything too personal. My main focus is on the love and life that each amazing client brings to the table week in and week out. Well, the end of the year is upon us, my busiest season yet is coming to an end, and I am feeling all the feelings. Before setting out to capture twenty-plus weddings in a year, I wrote down a list of goals. Some lofty and others seemingly small. On my list of goals was to be able to write a “best of” blog post. To successfully highlight the spirit of each couple, the unique attributes that make a wedding day one of a kind, the tears, the laughter, and every “whip nae-nae” in between. Well folks, here we are. To say I’m proud would be an understatement. I am beyond proud of each lovely couple that took the leap of faith with me this year. Humbled by the families who invited me in to their sacred space and treated me like one of their own. Inspired by the details created by the hardworking hands of other creative individuals in this industry. Blessed to have a team of family and friends who support me and stand behind my passion. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who helped make 2015 so unbelievably memorable. To all my 2016 couples: Here we go! I simply can’t wait be a part of each and every moment…

On to the pictures. Choosing an acceptable number of images for a blog was not an easy task! Here are a handful of my favorites, from start to finish.

Adam & Sasha: Engaged!

During our first meeting, Sasha and Adam brought up the idea of doing a winter engagement session. This has always secretly been my favorite season, especially any day leading up to the holidays. So, you can imagine my excitement when Sasha requested Salem in December. Slam dunk! We took our time wandering the quaint streets all decked out for Christmas (leaving room for coffee!), talking about all the exciting wedding details that are in the works for next October. I could have stayed all day. Sasha and Adam are the type of people who make you feel at ease, their happiness together is so genuine that it seems contagious. Sasha and Adam-I am beyond lucky to capture your big day and can’t thank you enough for inviting me in! Enjoy your images!
