Matt & Maria: Married!

I am a big believer that love is love is love…no matter the shape, size, age, or gender. And lucky for me, I have the unique opportunity to witness the magnitude of love on an almost weekly basis. Then, there are the times when a love comes along that is completely undeniable. When you can feel a bond within one conversation. When you see the way a man looks at his brand new wife and simply know this will last a lifetime. When a first dance gives you goosebumps and a cake cutting is somehow too cute for words. All of this embodies the love that Matt and Maria share. These two were married on a breathtakingly beautiful day at the Lake House in the Berkshires. Maria had a plan for an elegantly casual weekend celebration and her vision was executed to perfection. Each detail was effortlessly chic. I feel honored to be able to share these images and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Matt and Maria!!

Baby A is here!

Oh this blog post. It’s one that I have been secretly waiting to write since the first time I met Matt and Lindsay. First was our engagement session together then their beautiful wedding in Salem. Over the past three years, we would run into each other around town and my mind would always drift to the possibility of their little family growing. Fast forward to this past spring when I received an email from Lindsay that they were expecting, and my excitement could not be hidden. One of the best parts of my job is that my work lasts long after the dance party ends. Having the chance to meet the newborns of my past couples is something that is a true honor. Watching brides and grooms become moms and dads and seeing how it changes their lives and their love for all the best reasons…nothing compares. I was able to spend a Friday morning with Matt and Lindsay’s sweet baby girl and I still get goosebumps looking at these images. Baby A is so loved and so lucky and I can’t wait to see her grow 🙂

Ian & Michelle: Married!

I knew pretty much from the first second of meeting Michelle that this was going to be a great wedding. As we sat down to chat, there was an ease in our conversation and things just seemed to click. Fast forward a few months, and we met for a sunset engagement session along the rocky shores of Salem. It was here that I finally had the chance to meet Ian, and my original thoughts were solidified. Not only are both Michelle and Ian so fun to be around, but they are better when together (if that’s even possible!). I have said this before, but I can tell when two people are meant to be. And there’s not a doubt in my mind that this is true for these two. On a day that was supposed to rain at every hour, Michelle and Ian were married at Zorvino Vineyard. But a funny thing happened…the skies cleared, the sun came out, and the ceremony took place among the gardens outside. A rainbow filled the skies to top it all off. This sums up the relationship Michelle and Ian have…nothing can dampen the joy that they share. I am so happy to highlight a small sneak peek of this beautiful day! Cheers to Michelle and Ian!

Tyler & Vanessa: Married!

There were so many moments that stood out to me during my time with Vanessa and Tyler. I loved being there as all the girls helped Vanessa get ready. I loved Tyler’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time. The beautiful, sunny ceremony and later on, the packed dance floor. But perhaps my favorite part was during our formal pictures. I was able to scout out a place called the Sweetheart Memorial near the Devens Common Center. This memorial was built in 1918 using stones from all over the US brought by wives and fiancées of soldiers who had to endure long periods of separation. It was a popular place for wedding pictures at the time. The hopeless romantic in me just loved being able to use this special location for Vanessa and Tyler. What an honor it was for me to photograph this wedding…I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two!!
