Prudente Family: Baptism!

I have been a little quiet on the blog lately….enjoying spring (finally!) and resting up for what is sure to be a busy summer season. My posts are picking up right where they left off, with the Prudente family celebrating another momentous milestone! This weekend, I had the opportunity to see Anya and Jim once again, this time to shoot their adorable baby’s baptism. Although little Victoria may not have been so thrilled with the days events (nothing that a binky can’t fix!!), she hands down stole the show with her gorgeous christening gown…handmade by her Godmother…using Anya’s wedding dress. Perfection. The love that surrounded Victoria from start to finish was an honor to witness and I’m once again so thrilled to share this little family.

First Birthday Party!!

I had the unique opportunity to spend a recent Sunday afternoon celebrating a very important milestone-a first birthday party!! Before the big day, I talked with parents Anya and Jim about every last fabulous detail. I couldn’t wait to see the gold, glittery, pink plans come to life and was so impressed with all the hard work the second I walked through the door. From the adorable “Mommy and Me” getting ready shots, to the fabulous tutu, the snuggly family portraits full of love, and on to the fun and frosting…these images remind me just how important it is to capture each and every step along the way. Thank you for inviting me to your party, Prudente family, and here’s to another awesome year!!

Featured: Rustic Wedding Chic!

A few weeks back, I shared the colorful, glittery, rustic, and fabulous styled wedding shoot put together by my very talented friends. Today, I am so happy and excited to say that we have been featured on Rustic Wedding Chic!!

Styled Wedding Shoot!

2014 is going to be the best year yet. I’m starting to add weddings to my portfolio, and feel incredibly lucky to document each and every special moment. Wedding season is still months away, so I thought…why not put together a styled wedding shoot in the meantime?! It just so happens that I have some very talented friends who were graciously willing to help me pull a vision together. Our idea started with an amazing old barn (think exposed beams, big ceilings, old doors as shelves) and quickly developed into all things fun, color, and gold glitter. My friend Meghan provided her amazing jewelry. Lori (the face behind my logo) created the invitations, menus, and table numbers. Sarah DaRosa made our beautiful model Kelsey even more glam than she already is. Add a cake from Tara Leigh Cakes and we were good to go.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about these images. The artists that I mentioned above are all local, talented individuals who are looking to make moves in the wedding world. So much of this shoot was DIY (my house is still covered in glitter) which makes it even more noteworthy. Be sure to check out all the links, they are definitely worth every second of your time!
