Oh this wedding. This was one that I eagerly awaited as the 2019 months went by. Marshfield has always had special meaning to me, as my family has spent summers by the beach here for decades. When Adrienne explained to me that she was having a casual, laid back wedding at Salt River Farm, I was hooked. Perhaps my favorite part of the day was the getting ready portion. Both Jake and Adrienne were able to hang out at a family home half a mile away from the farm. The result was a truly intimate and relaxed vibe. Every detail chosen by Jake and Adrienne seemed so effortlessly elegant and blended with the beautiful, natural backdrop that is fall in Marshfield. Add in the love these two share and it’s pretty much a match made in photographer heaven. Congratulations to Jake and Adrienne…may you always laugh through your life the way you did on this amazing day!!

With each of my wedding couples, my job starts well before the actual big day. I am always ready and willing to offer advice, recommendations, and my opinion based on past experience. One of the things that usually ends up on my list of things to say is that sometimes engagement sessions may feel awkward at first. So many brides and grooms are worried about getting in front of the camera (especially since it’s not something most people do often!!). If Lauren and Ryan felt this way even a little bit, they certainly hid their jitters well! We had the most beautiful summer night at the Crane Estate and Crane Beach and these two were so at ease. Maybe it’s the fact that they are so at ease with each other, but the joy simply could not be contained. I cannot wait for next July to be able to do this all over again!!

When Erin first contacted me, I knew right away that we were going to hit it off. Her plans for an intimate, summer wedding in the city are the stuff that make me truly love what I do. Erin and Andy wanted the centerpiece of the day to be family, with meaningful details sprinkled in at every turn. Starting with getting ready at the Boston Yacht Haven, leading up to a very heartfelt ceremony at Centanni Park (closeby to the home where Andy grew up), and all finishing off with a beautiful dinner in the North End. I know these pictures will forever be cherished, and I am just so happy that Erin and Andy chose me to document this day!!
