There are certain times in this job of mine where I truly understand the gravity of the task at hand. Yes, my goal is to capture each moment in a way that makes my clients smile. To reflect my creative side. To compile a perfect gallery full of the faces that make two families combine into one. But there is just so much more than this. Wedding pictures are a treasure that breathe life long after the last song is played. They are a legacy for generations to come. An eventual memory of those we so desperately long to remember. John and Sarah are perhaps the prime example of why I love what I do. These two have been together for nearly ten years, and have experienced so much over the course of the last decade. They have weathered the storm of loss and come out on the other side even stronger in love than when they began. They are a true team-and for that reason, John and Sarah’s day was simply something special. There were many moments of heartfelt tears, and an overwhelming feeling of abundant joy. For both families, April 7th represented a day that was nothing short of meant to be. There is no doubt in my mind that John and Sarah will be showing their children (and their children’s children) these images thirty plus years from now, reminiscing on a lifetime of happy memories. John and Sarah…what an honor it has been to know you, to photograph you, and to be even a small part of your beautiful love story. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store!!
