Duxbury is simply a special place. There is something about the charm, the history, the beautiful water views and marshland. So, it comes as no surprise that this next wedding was something extraordinary. Christina has spent decades visiting this spot every summer, and planned a beautiful summer wedding at the Duxbury Maritime School. Perhaps one of my favorite parts of the day was capturing Christina and her bridal party at the Windsor House nearby…white-washed brick and gardens galore, so classically New England. On a day that called for rain, the sun seemed to get brighter and brighter just in time for the ceremony. Ryan and Christina are a perfect pair. They compliment each other in a way that is totally effortless. I will always look back on this day and feel so lucky to have documented each moment. Christina and Ryan…congratulations and cheers to a life full of happiness!!

I might not have all the answers when it comes to parenting, but I know one thing to be true…time just goes by in the blink of an eye. The last time I photographed this adorable family, little baby L was just days old. Now she has grown into a fun, busy, smart, curious toddler who just celebrated her second birthday. In the blog post for Miss L’s newborn session, I mentioned that fact that her parents were completely over the moon for their baby girl. Well this still couldn’t be more true. What a lucky lady to have such loving parents who are doing an amazing job. Thanks again for asking me to capture this moment in time…can’t wait to see you all (hopefully) very soon!

Kyle and Kathleen have so many of the traits that I simply love in a couple. They are so laid back, roll with the punches, have fun in pretty much any situation, and are truly, madly in love. I love how Kathleen got ready at home. I love Kyle’s reaction (an audible “wow”) as the doors opened to reveal his bride at the end. I love how the entire bridal party wore matching sunglasses, complete with their specific role on the side. I love their first dance and the expressions that came with it. Kyle and Kathleen embody what I love about this job, and being there to witness this beautiful Colonial Hall wedding day was nothing short of an honor.

Liz and Tyler were married at the Old South Church with a beautiful reception following at the Lenox Hotel. There are so many aspects of the day that would take paragraphs to describe. Each moment was so classically elegant, from the stunning ballgown chosen by Liz to the gold and blue touches throughout the day. The mood from the beginning was nothing short of blissful as family and friends gathered to watch this story unfold. The memories shared from Liz and Tyler’s college years had everyone in stitches, and the dance floor was packed well into the night. I absolutely adored capturing Liz and Tyler’s wedding day and know that this is just the start of their journey together. Congrats to you both and hope you are loving your honeymoon!!
