If you follow my blog, you know that my posts tend to shy away from anything too personal. My main focus is on the love and life that each amazing client brings to the table week in and week out. Well, the end of the year is upon us, my busiest season yet is coming to an end, and I am feeling all the feelings. Before setting out to capture twenty-plus weddings in a year, I wrote down a list of goals. Some lofty and others seemingly small. On my list of goals was to be able to write a “best of” blog post. To successfully highlight the spirit of each couple, the unique attributes that make a wedding day one of a kind, the tears, the laughter, and every “whip nae-nae” in between. Well folks, here we are. To say I’m proud would be an understatement. I am beyond proud of each lovely couple that took the leap of faith with me this year. Humbled by the families who invited me in to their sacred space and treated me like one of their own. Inspired by the details created by the hardworking hands of other creative individuals in this industry. Blessed to have a team of family and friends who support me and stand behind my passion. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who helped make 2015 so unbelievably memorable. To all my 2016 couples: Here we go! I simply can’t wait be a part of each and every moment…

On to the pictures. Choosing an acceptable number of images for a blog was not an easy task! Here are a handful of my favorites, from start to finish.

During our first meeting, Sasha and Adam brought up the idea of doing a winter engagement session. This has always secretly been my favorite season, especially any day leading up to the holidays. So, you can imagine my excitement when Sasha requested Salem in December. Slam dunk! We took our time wandering the quaint streets all decked out for Christmas (leaving room for coffee!), talking about all the exciting wedding details that are in the works for next October. I could have stayed all day. Sasha and Adam are the type of people who make you feel at ease, their happiness together is so genuine that it seems contagious. Ismini and John have had a whirlwind kind of relationship, meeting and getting engaged all within a years time. You can tell almost instantly how in love and happy they are with each other! I had the privilege of photographing their engagement session a few weeks back, on a very chilly morning by the water. The wind didn’t seem to dampen spirits, as Ismini and John smiled throughout our time together. I am so glad that Ismini and John found me (through the powers of Instagram!) and can’t wait for May to capture each wedding day moment! Congratulations you two!!
