I am breaking tradition and blogging two sessions in one week. There is certainly a trend in the photographs I am choosing to show. This week, both posts took place in the Boston Public Garden. Both feature a gorgeous background and couples who are genuinely in love. And both make my heart so full of gratitude for having the opportunity to capture such amazing people. Liz and Tyler are certainly no exception. During our time together, these two were able to embrace the idea of being in front on the camera and even had a little fun with it (dancing in the streets of Beacon Hill!). This was of course the perfect practice for their August wedding at the Lenox Hotel and I cannot wait!!

After almost a decade together, Dario and Samantha woke up on a recent Monday morning and decided to get married in less than a weeks time. One might find this to be completely daunting…after all, there are a lot of details to consider. For Dario and Samantha, all the pieces came together seamlessly as if this intimate ceremony in the city was destined to happen. I am still coming down from this special day. Each piece was so romantic, so meaningful, and just so classic Boston. We had the best time roaming the streets and stopping along the way for pictures, with many onlookers ready to offer a celebratory cheer for the bride and groom. Samantha and Dario…what can I say?! Thank you for taking a chance and contacting me. Yours was a day that was meant for me to witness and I am just so happy for you both!

What made Dave and Amy’s wedding day so special was that it was steeped in details that were just so…Dave and Amy. Their personalities were front and center from start to finish and I felt their love in each moment throughout the day. Details included nods to their love of skiing (a cake that was shaped like Wildcat Mountain, the spot where they got engaged), table numbers which each had a different song lyric from their personal favorites, a festive trolley ride, a shark wall as part of the must-have photography list, and little momento’s of a beautiful family member whose spirit was felt in a multitude of ways. This perfect October day was my last wedding of the season, and I drove home feeling so full of the magnetic energy that is Dave and Amy. I am once again humbled and excited to share a small sample of my favorite images. Congratulations you guys…I had an absolute blast and haven’t stopped singing “Emmylou” since!!
