In all the craziness of my December wedding season, I neglected to blog all the amazing families who I have been lucky enough to capture over the past few months. Now that Christmas cards have safely been delivered, it’s the perfect time to share a little medley of my favorite faces…old friends and new!

Happy Holidays from my little family to yours!

Mike and Barbara represent so much of what I love about a soon-to-be married couple. There is a certain ease about these two, like they have been together for a lifetime already. They make each other laugh (and can they laugh…like real honest to goodness belly laughs!!) and are on the same page when it comes to their future. We met up on a gorgeous Sunday at Aquataine in the South End. This location has special meaning, as it was the spot where they first laid eyes on each other a few years back. After a quick outfit change, we ended our night strolling along the neighborhood they so lovingly call home, looking for beautiful light and meaningful landmarks (and being photo-bombed by a Christmas tree or two). I can’t wait for March, to capture their fancy Cohasset celebration at the Red Lion Inn!

Cassie and Greg were married on one of the rainiest days of the season. However, one would never know the forecast called for grey and gloom when laying eyes on this couple as they prepared to say “I do.” Upon greeting them both separately at the Hawthorne Hotel, the smiles were literally ear to ear. Greg was busy writing a very romantic love note for his bride, while Cassie took care of hair and makeup (and glowing-seriously, so beautiful!). This wedding was special for me, as Cassie and I went to High School together way back when. The day was also special for the simple fact that these two are what marriage is supposed to look like. Cassie and Greg hold the same values dear, trust and understand each other, and are wholeheartedly happier when together. Their Salem wedding day was a fun and cozy winter celebration, with sparkly pinecones and twinkly lights galore. I absolutely love the way the rain and lights shape our formal pictures, and am so glad they were good sports about standing out in the cold. A big thank you to Stephanie for coming along to shoot beside me!

Congratulations again Cassie and Greg, and have an awesome time on your honeymoon…there is no doubt that you have a lifetime of happiness to look forward to when you get home!

Over the summer, I had the pleasure of second shooting with the extremely talented Lauren Methia. We started out capturing both the bride and groom getting ready at the Hyatt Harborside (with an amazing view of the city!) and then moved on to Boston College for the ceremony and formal portraits. Terence and Alyssa were  as bright and beautiful as their sunny August wedding day.  Here are just a few highlights from this very classic, very romantic celebration.
