L&J: Trucks!

Christmas came in July. Somehow our town learned about Jack’s complete and utter obsession with trucks (and buses and boats, and pretty much anything that goes) and decided to pave our street. We woke up one morning to a bulldozer, a backhoe, and a dump truck right outside our door. Total fascination. Jack stood still and watched for a solid 30 minutes (which is an eternity in toddler time).

And Luke was in on the action too (he watched safely from his seat)!

BBQ

For years, my husband has played on a men’s softball league with a big group of his college friends. Every Friday night. In the summer. Ugh. While this hobby may or may not be so fun for the significant others, it is fun that we have started an annual cookout to celebrate all their victories on the field.

All jokes aside, we had an awesome day in early summer, hanging by the pool and enjoying each other’s company. I love that our kids have a chance to play together and I hope the tradition continues far into the future!! Here is some of the cuteness:

Kami and Ryan: Expecting in East Boston!

There is nothing quite like the month or so leading up to your first baby. The feeling is part excited, part anxious, and mostly terrified. Kami and Ryan were gracious enough to let me capture some moments 2 weeks before their sweet little girl’s arrival. As you will see, they sure don’t look scared…they were every bit calm and ready, and totally into each other. I had so much fun documenting Kami’s idea for a pink bow around her adorable bump. Congrats again guys!!
